WELCOME TO LEON DAVIES RACING

WELCOME TO LEON DAVIES RACING

Leon Davies trains a boutique sized stable out of Tamworth in NSW. Leon has only held his licence for 5 years and he is certainly making an impression on the NSW training ranks. Already to date, this enthusiastic young trainer has won the Gunnedah Cup, Wellington Cup, Quirindi Cup and Armidale Cup, the Coonbamble Cup is obviously his favourite as he has won this Cup both in 2010 and 2011.  This is quite an amazing feat when you consider that he only has 12 horses in work at any one time and he did not come from a racing background. Prior to training Leon did work for Gai Waterhouse, Alan Bailey and a couple of other trainers over 3 years before setting up his own pre-training and breaking in service at a young age.

We invite you to browse through our website and learn more about Leon Davies Racing.

The Leon Davies-trained gelding was ridden a treat by Kody Nestor to notch a short neck win from Luke Griffith’s perennial bridesmaid. In 67 starts Kwilas Law has now run 18 seconds. And he might have been a little unlucky, held up for a few...
